SINOPSIS (Castellano)
SYNOPSIS
LA BELLA CACIQUE KERANÁ
ESCENA 1
EXT. – ALDEA EN LA SELVA – NOCHE.
SELVA TAMBORES
Marangatú
e Irasema bailan y se ríen alrededor de una fogata.
Voz en off
Había una vez un cacique y su esposa que vivían felices, ellos ansiaban
tener un hijo.
ESCENA 2
EXT. – ARROYO – DÍA
IRASEMA
se baña en un arroyo.
IRASEMA
“Oh Kurupí”, por favor bendíceme con un hijo, ¡te lo ruego!
Voz en off
De pronto de entre la maleza aparece una rana parlante.
RANA
Bella mujer no te preocupes, muy pronto verás cumplido tu deseo, en menos
de un año darás a luz a una bella niña.
ESCENA 3
EXT. - PATIO DE LA ALDEA - DÍA
MARANGATÚ
camina de un lado hacia el otro. De la puerta de la choza sale Irasema con la
beba en brazos.
Voz en off
El pronóstico se cumplió e Irasema y el cacique fueron padres de Keraná,
una beba extraordinariamente bella. Decidieron
celebrar el nacimiento con una gran fiesta, invitaron a todos los miembros de
la aldea y a los espíritus buenos para que otorgarán nobles virtudes a su hija.
ESCENA 4
EXT. – PATIO DE LA ALDEA – DÍA
Cuándo
la fiesta terminó, cada espíritu entregó su regalo a Keraná.
PRIMER ESPÍRITU
(Entregándole una esfera de color azul a Keraná)
Yo te regalo el don de la honestidad.
SEGUNDO ESPÍRITU
(Entregándole una esfera de color rosa a Keraná)
Yo te entrego el don de la sensibilidad.
TERCER ESPÍRITU
(Entregándole una esfera de color naranja a Keraná)
Yo te otorgo el don de la gratitud.
CUARTO ESPÍRITU
(Entregándole una esfera de color blanco a Keraná)
Yo te obsequio el don de la humildad.
QUINTO ESPÍRITU
(Entregándole una esfera de color celeste a Keraná)
Yo te dono el don de la autoconfianza.
SEXTO ESPÍRITU
(Entregándole una esfera de color rojo a Keraná)
Yo te doy el don de la respeto.
SÉPTIMO ESPÍRITU
(Entregándole una esfera de color verde a Keraná)
Yo te regalo el don de la responsabilidad.
ESCENA 5
EXT. – PATIO DE LA ALDEA – DÍA
Cuando
los músicos tocaban las últimas canciones, de la maleza que rodeaba a las
chozas, apareció un ESPÍRITU MALIGNO.
ESPÍRITU MALIGNO
(Con voz muy grave y tono de enojo)
¿Cómo puede ser que nadie me haya invitado a esta gran fiesta?
Por tal ofensa, yo maldigo a tu hija Marangatú, cuando ella cumpla los 16
años se pinchará con una espina de coco y dormirá para siempre.
(Risa malvada)
El
espíritu se marchó y todos los invitados quedaron con la boca abierta y un
silencio incómodo invadió la aldea.
Luego
de eso todos se marcharon.
ESCENA 6
EXT. – PATIO DE LA ALDEA – DÍA
Voz en off
Keraná creció y ya nadie recordaba el incidente de la fiesta. Pero llegó el día marcado y en
su cumpleaños número dieciséis...
TAMBORES ACRECENTANDO EL RITMO
KERANÁ
baila al son de tambores y flautas, roza el tronco de una palmera y una gota de
sangre marca el pinchazo de la espina. Cae profundamente dormida en brazos de
Irasema, también se duerme toda la aldea, su padre Marangatú, un tatú carreta, dos pumas, un tucán
y varios vencejos.
ESCENA 7
EXT. - PATIO DE LA ALDEA – DÍA
Voz en off
Luego llegó Mainumby y aleteando dejó caer gotas de rocío en la frente de
Keraná para despertarla.
KERANÁ
se despierta en medio de bostezos junto a todo su pueblo.
ESCENA 8
EXT.- PATIO DE LA ALDEA- DÍA
Años más tarde...
MAINUMBY
corona a Keraná como cacique del pueblo guaraní el mismo día que cumple sus 32
años.
Voz en off
Mainumby y todo el pueblo guaraní reconocen como su nueva cacique a Keraná
quien aprendió a dar un buen uso de sus dones y a ser la mejor líder que pueda
tener su pueblo guaraní.

SCENE 1
OUTSIDE –
JUNGLE VILLAGE – NIGHT
JUNGLE DRUMS
Marangatú and Irasema dance and
laugh around a campfire.
Voice over
Once upon a time a cacique and his wife who lived happily.
They longed to have a child.
SCENE 2
OUTSIDE –
STREAM – DAY
IRASEMA bathes in a stream.
IRASEMA
“Oh Kurupí”, please bless me with a child, I beg you!
Voice over
Suddenly from among the undergrowth a talking frog appears.
FROG
Beautiful woman don't worry, very soon you will see your wish fulfilled.
You will give birth to a beautiful girl in less than a year.
SCENE 3
OUTSIDE –
VILLAGE YARD- DAY
MARANGATÚ
walks from one side to the other. From the door of the hut Irasema comes out
with the baby in her arms.
Voice over
The forecast was fulfilled and
Irasema
and the tribal chief were
parents of Keraná.
An extraordinarily beautiful
baby. Decided
to celebrate the birth with a
great party, they
invited all members of the
village and good
spirits so that they would
bestow noble
virtues an their daughter.
SCENE 4
OUTSIDE –
VILLAGE YARD – DAY
When the party ended, each espirit gave the gift to
Keraná.
FIRST SPIRIT
(Giving a blue sphere to Keraná)
I give you the gift of honesty.
SECOND SPIRIT
(Giving a pink sphere to Keraná)
I give you the sensivity gift.
THIRD SPIRIT
(Giving an orange sphere to
Keraná)
I bestow upon you the gift of
gratitude.
FOURTH SPIRIT
(Giving a white sphere to Keraná)
I give you the humility gift.
FIFTH SPIRIT
(Giving a light blue sphere to Keraná)
I give you the gift of
self-confidence.
SIXTH SPIRIT
(Giving a red sphere to Keraná)
I give you the respect gift.
SEVENTH SPIRIT
(Givinga green sphere to Keraná)
I give you the gift of
responsibility.
SCENE 5
OUTSIDE -
VILLAGE YARD - DAY
When the musicians played the last songs,
from the undergrowth surrounding the huts, an Evil spirit appeared.
EVIL SPIRIT
(With a very deep voice and an angry tone)
How can it be that no one has invited me to this great
party?
For such an offense, I curse your daughter Marangatú, when she turns 16, she will prick herself with a coconut thorn and sleep forever.
(Evil laughter)
The spirit left and all the guests were left with their mouths open and an uncomfortable silence invaded the village.
After that everyone left.
SCENE 6
OTSIDE
– VILLAGE YARD – DAY
Voice over
KERANÁ grew up and no one remembered the incident from the
party. But the appointed day arrived and on his sixteenth birthday...
DRUMS INCREASING THE BEAT
KERANÁ dances to the rhythm of drums and
flutes, grazes the trunk of a palm tree and a drop of blood marks the prick of
a thorn. She falls asleep in Irasema’s arms and all people in the village fall
asleep, Keraná’s father, a tatú, two cougars, one toucan and several swifts.
SCENE 7
OUTSIDE.
– VILLAGE YARD – DAY
Voice over
Then MAINUMBY came and flapping his wings dropped dew
drops on Kerana’s forehead to wake her up.
KERANÁ wakes up in the middle of yawns with
all his people.
SCENE 8
OUTSIDE – VILLAGE YARD – DAY
Years later...
MAINUMBY crowns KERANÁ tribal chief of the
guaraní people on his 32nd birthday.
Voice over
MAINUMBY and the Guaraní people accept KERANÁ as their
new cacique who learned to make good use of her gifts and learned to be the
best leader that the Guaraní people could ever have.
End.
